I’m Ava Tingley, a Textile student at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a heavy focus on Fashion Design. I thrive on tackling unexpected challenges and am always eager to start new projects that allow me to express my creativity. Color is a central medium in my work, and I love experimenting with fabrics, textures, and the endless possibilities they offer. My art is a way to communicate my unique perspective, with a strong focus on materiality and the tactile qualities of textiles. Nature inspires my practice, encouraging me to explore new ideas and combinations. I aim to make my work promote happiness, self-love, and self-acceptance. My curiosity fuels my passion for Design and Textiles, and I’m excited to see where this journey leads.
