This has been a very sentimental project for me as I begin to explore more personal art and discover the therapeutic elements I can create, as well as the heartwarming emotions I can evoke through my work. Specifically, this piece is meant to promote self-love and acceptance by acknowledging all the hurdles I have had to overcome to get where I am today. This process is empowering, as it allows me to reflect on my journey and take pride in all that I have accomplished. I believe this unique visual beautifully represents growing up and highlights the importance of positive self-encouragement through all that life throws at you.

This screen print symbolizes my childhood with two amazing big brothers. As the youngest child, my art explores the relationship siblings have through their individual identities and personalities.

I wanted to use the faces of us as young kids to illustrate our innocence and joyful expressions.

This piece explores untainted happiness, love, and joy. I also wanted to incorporate text to highlight the importance of learning to read and write during childhood.
